Depends on who makes it, but shine should have no smell or taste until you burp! The real shine is 190 or 195 proof, and now available in flavors or sugar shine as its called in the south! You will be intoxicated and not realize it until you stand up or move suddenly! The store bought variety is toxic tasting garbage! Georgia Moon is horrible, and flavored varieties are worse! Not made the same at all, not sure how that recipe has been handed down, but its not even close to real!!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7998533699992984187.post-63008259614644546122012-03-17T20:01:57.787-07:002012-03-17T20:01:57.787-07:00Thanks Kristopher! Everclear's 151 or 190-proof can be too strong for you to notice any actual flavor. It's best to mix it with something to get a good buzz and flavor at the same time.Kristopher Gawronhttp://www.posim.com/wine-liquor-store-pos/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7998533699992984187.post-20788067103589015372011-08-09T22:38:16.594-07:002011-08-09T22:38:16.594-07:00I'm ready to get lost in a good food read.
